The Philosophy of St Joseph’s Outside School Hours Care is based upon the St Joseph’s School Mission Statement: “Our mission is to develop a community of faith, based on belief in God and a Christian way of life, where Gospel values will permeate all areas of learning and school life, determining the whole atmosphere of the school.”

St. Joseph’s School, Cairns, is an inner-city school with approximately 390 students. St Joseph’s Outside School Hours Care provides a nurturing, creative, safe and caring environment for a total of 90 students. We embrace cultural diversity, have strong community involvement and a “let’s get healthy and active” attitude. We provide safe, enriching and engaging experiences for the children in our care, to encourage their continued growth and development.
